Living Bread Bloggers
January 24, 2013
Are you a blogger?  If so, we would like for you to become an Living Bread Blogger!  What exactly is a Living Bread Blogger? I'm glad you asked.  A LB Blogger is an advocate for missional church planting among the global poor, someone who partners with us to use their blog as a tool to cast a vision for our work.  This is important because there is a huge deficit of church planting among the global poor and we believe it is an integral part in dealing with poverty and its results not the least of which is human trafficking. Why does Living Bread exist?
January 8, 2013
During the holidays I (Patrick) took some time to reflect on this question.  I think its good to do this regularly in order to check our hearts.  I am always praying for the Lord to provide the resources we need.  I pray for growth and I want to make sure my motives are pure.  So, why does Living Bread exist?   [READ MORE]

Help us Close the Year Strong
December 28, 2012
We have had some difficulties this year, with losing a pastor and having to relocate a couple of our church plants in Brazil.  We also have a church with the money to build a building but we have had many setbacks and have been unable to break ground.  We are all growing discouraged with the situation.  In addition, the financial woes around the world have finally caught up with us.  We have lost several supporters while at the same time beginning additional church plants.  This has left us closing the year with a $27,655 shortfall. Our Vision for Thailand
October 24, 2012
Imagine being so poor and hungry that you would send your teen or even pre-teen son or daughter to the big city to find work in order that they could send money home to help care for the family.  This is a reality for multitudes of families in Thailand.  Unfortunately, when these young people get to the city, their lack of job skills and education limits their ability to find work.  As a result, many of them end up in the enormous sex industry in Thailand. True Hands and Feet of Christ - Written by Pastor Matt Fretwell
September 4, 2012

Living Bread Ministries—what can be said of a ministry which combines the aspects of the Sermon on the Mount and the vigor and zeal of the Great Commission? For me, as a pastor and ex-church planter, LBM grasps the two worlds and conjoins them with the love of the Gospel. I am moved by their compassion to reach out to the global poor, but even more, how it entails raising up indigenous leaders.  [READ MORE]
